A Thrill is a Thrill…

that is how I felt when I saw this on Cheri`s blog. I loved the name of her design Apple Brown Betty, mine is more a crumble. I scooped some scraps in my scrap bags and made this Apple Crumble. I have to quilt it and I have the binding all picked out. This was so much fun for me to make! and in no time at all. Thanks Cheri for the wonderful Design

I have my 2 blocks made with the BOW with Temecula Quilt Co just loving the basket theme ready before Easter!

And I have my next block for Love Letters by Black Bird Designs ready to applique  when I go to retreat next week…yes a thrill is really a thrill

These wee homes are going to another part of the states the pattern is from the designer on the sidebar you can see the little house there, everyone is making scrappy homes, I also thought it would be great on tea towels

Molly gave me a scare but she is getting better a really bad urinary infection, as you can see she is no worse for wear

Then I could not resist this book by Black bird designs I think this maybe my next project, a pattern in there called Pressed Flowers and a needle keeper that just has to be made. How appropriate!

We 3 Quilters was only 2 but we shared in some cake. I could not resist this look how feminine it is so spring like! We did meet up on Saturday with our 3rd and had a wonderful lunch. We have 12 weeks left with RM and then she moves up north only 6hrs drive away from us….

I am still working on my special project and it is coming along really cute this is a portion. It is with my scraps

And also getting my next Love letters block ready to applique…not to much happening in my part of the world..LOL
I noticed that spring is cropping up in some parts of blogland this week we are hitting the teens, I would love to start gardening clean up but know it will be too early.
Still getting ready for our big quilt show at the end of the month so hope you can make it!!

my TeaTowel

I was in a swap and this is the gorgeously wonderful teatowel I had received. I am terribly late with mine I will post when she gets it. I was to have it out at the beginning of Feb but have only finished now and sent it. Too many issues to talk about right now...but my swappee understands as long as you communicate with your partner.

Mamu is this ladies screen name on the group I belong to, we had meet online from another group and I just love my Teatowel but not only did she send me a teatowel she sent me a wonderful apron to match are they not adorable!!
I also got another wonderful gift that i will post the next time. I didn`t have a picture of it yet...How do you take a picture of something and make it look as beautiful as it is. I am not a very good stager, new word for me from a dear friend that just went through staging her house to sell, it sold already and she has bought a new one. I am still getting over the shock will let you know next time, I am not happy for me but happy for her (kinda, well sorta, well alright as long as she is happy)
