A Thrill is a Thrill…

that is how I felt when I saw this on Cheri`s blog. I loved the name of her design Apple Brown Betty, mine is more a crumble. I scooped some scraps in my scrap bags and made this Apple Crumble. I have to quilt it and I have the binding all picked out. This was so much fun for me to make! and in no time at all. Thanks Cheri for the wonderful Design
I have my 2 blocks made with the BOW with Temecula Quilt Co just loving the basket theme ready before Easter!
And I have my next block for Love Letters by Black Bird Designs ready to applique  when I go to retreat next week…yes a thrill is really a thrill
It`s a countdown for our quilt show hope you can make it check out the sideline on dates and times and please copy the flyer to add to your own blog if you are in the surrounding area of Whitby Ontario Canada

  1. I would love to come to your quilt show - but it's such a long way! Have a fun time. Love your Apple Crumble quilt, it's gorgeous.

  2. I have two blocks of "Love Letters" made and started a third. Just so much work just to do one block as they are so large.
I didn't play along on Cheri's quilt this time. I like yours. I don't think I have ever had Apple Brown Betty.

  3. Oh goodie ..... bring these over with you tonight .... we'll be drooling, for sure!

  4. You are so quiltingly productive. It makes me want to put the computer down and get busy. Well, almost. I am enjoying having some time to read blogs and be inspired by such great projects. I loved Cheri's little quilt and your slightly brighter version is lovely. I also really like the fabrics you are using for the Temecula project. Finally, I cannot neglect admiring your applique. What method do you use? It looks perfect.

  5. Betweeens -
I love your crumb quilt, baskets and applique block. You are very talented!! Thanks for all the blog links on the side. I just had a very enjoyable hour looking through them.
